Algebra-Simultaneous Equations
Simultaneous equations are two or more algebraic equations that share variables for example x and y. They are called simultaneous equations because the equations are solved at the same time and each equation depends on each other to be solved. The simultaneous equations are also known as the system of equations, in which it consists of a finite set of equations for which the common solution is sought. The general form of simultaneous linear equations is given as: ax+by=c dx+ey=f

Quadratic Expression and Quadratic Equation
Quadratic Expression A quadratic Expression is any mathematical expression in the form ax2 + bx + c,. where a, b, and c are constants, and a ≠ 0 whose power or degree is 2. In order words, any expression that uses variable or variables which are the same where the highest exponent of power is 2. Similarly, a quadratic equation is a quadratic expression that is equal to zero (0).

Methods of Solving a quadratic equation
It is very important to be aware of the different methods that we can use to solve a quadratic equation. This will give us options in exam if we are simply asked to solve a quadratic equation and to utilize the method we are most comfortable with. Some of the methods to solve a quadratic equation are as follow : -Factorization -Quadratic formula -Completing the Square -Graphical Method

Factorization/Revision
Factoring a polynomial involves writing it as a product of two or more polynomials. It reverses the process of polynomial multiplication. We have seen several examples of factoring already. However, for this article, you should be especially familiar with taking common factors using the distributive property. N.B. To factorize an algebraic expression ,we need to find the greatest factor of each term and use the GREATEST COMMON FACTOR (GCF) as evidence that will multiply the remainder. In the case of quadratic equation we use factorization by grouping where possible.

What is Summary Writing? A summary is the condensed version of an original text. It is about identifying the most important text and restating it into your own words. Writing a summary is a great way to process what you read, whether it’s a book or an article.

English Language – Equivalent Sentences
What is an equivalent sentence? An equivalent sentence is similar in meaning to the original, even though the structure and words are different. Engaging in identifying equivalent sentences is an important activity that can be used to improve your paraphrasing skills and, by extension, summary writing.

Synonyms & Antonyms.
Synonyms & Antonyms The main difference between synonyms and antonyms is that synonyms are words with similar meanings, whereas antonyms are words with opposite meanings. Basically, a synonym is the opposite of an antonym. It is very important to know synonyms and antonyms of words when you are learning a language. Especially, they help us to expand our vocabulary and avoid repetition in our writing and speech. Moreover, dictionaries and thesauruses often help us to find synonyms and antonyms.

Reading Comprehension 1 & 2
What is Reading comprehension? This is the ability to process written text, understand its meaning, and to integrate with what the reader already knows. Reading comprehension relies on two abilities that are connected to each other: word reading and language comprehension.[5] Comprehension specifically is a "creative, multifaceted process" dependent upon four language skills: phonology, syntax, semantics, and pragmatics. Some of the fundamental skills required in efficient reading comprehension are the ability to: • know the meaning of words, • understand the meaning of a word from a discourse context, • follow the organization of a passage and to identify antecedents and references in it, • draw inferences from a passage about its contents, • identify the main thought of a passage, • ask questions about the text, • answer questions asked in a passage, • visualize the text, • recall prior knowledge connected to text, • recognize confusion or attention problems, • recognize the literary devices or propositional structures used in a passage and determine its tone, • understand the situational mood (agents, objects, temporal and spatial reference points, casual and intentional inflections, etc.) conveyed for assertions, questioning, commanding, refraining, etc., and • determine the writer's purpose, intent, and point of view, and draw inferences about the writer (discourse-semantics). Comprehension Skills that can be applied as well as taught to all reading situations include: • Summarizing • Sequencing • Inferencing • Comparing and contrasting • Drawing conclusions • Self-questioning • Problem-solving • Relating background knowledge • Distinguishing between fact and opinion • Finding the main idea, important facts, and supporting details.

Trigonometric Ratios
Trigonometry as one of the most important branch of mathematics is the study of lengths and angles of a triangle ,particularly right-angled triangle. This study is applicable to real-life scenario: Imagine you are standing on the ground level of a building that is so high where you cannot find the length of the building and you do not have tool to reach to the height of the building. By knowing the your distance on the ground level from the height of the building and knowing the reference angle, trigonometry makes it very easy to find the height of the building.

Expository Writing
Expository writing, as its name implies, is writing that exposes facts. In other words, it’s writing that explains and educates its readers, rather than entertaining or attempting to persuade them. When you read a scholarly article, a textbook page, a news report, or an instructional guide, you’re reading expository writing.

Resume
A resume is a formal document that a job applicant creates to itemize his or her qualifications for a position. A resume is used to provide employers with a summary of your relevant qualifications, including your relevant work experience, skills, education, and notable accomplishments2. It helps you demonstrate your abilities and convince employers you’re qualified and a good fit for the job.
